Worship Schedule Join us for worship at 10:00 a.m. every Sunday. We celebrate Communion together the first Sunday of each month. All are welcome at our Communion Table.
Federated Church
In 2008 we will be focusing on developing a God-centered vision based on five practices that create strong and passionate ministries. These practices are as follows: Hospitality, Powerful Worship, Intentional Faith Development, Risk-taking mission and service, Generous Giving. These five practices are driven by the five purposes of the church which are as follows: 1. Love the Lord with all your heart. 2. Love your neighbor as your self. 3. Go and make disciples. 4. Baptizing them. 5. Teaching them. These purposes are based on the great commandment and the great commission. They read as follows, "Love the Lord with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind...Love your neighbor as yourself. All the law and prophets hang on these two commandments.(Matthew 22:37-40)The Great Commission..."Go and make diciples and all nations baptizing them in the name of the father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. (Matthew 28:19-20)
Mission Statement: The mission of the people known as the Federated Church is to be a church not only where the Gospel is preached and the Word taught, but where children are nurtured and youth brought to maturity; where families are strengthened and where love is present, hurts healed and joys are shared: a church that serves the community and the world so that we may realize and share the satisfying and abundant life Christ brings to all persons.
